Reason I came here is to learn a little more about this car. ..and find out how others maintain theirs.

Actually, this is my wife's toy. ..her hobby. Of course, I'll tag along when she'll let me. My hobby is my motorcycle. The bad thing about it is she can't ride on the back of it very long......and she doesn't particularly like keeping up with traffic when she's sitting on the back. Both of us like going to the mountains.....and we both like going to the beach. I like honky tonkin'.....she'll go some times. I'm retired. She's still holding down a job.......someone has to make the "bait money". Oh yeah, I like to fish too.

This is the first convertible we've owned. We did have one sports car before, an MGB GT, about 25 years ago. I sure hope this car is a lot better than that one!
I've always liked Pontiacs. Our first real car was a '67 Firebird 400 we bought used late in '68....4 speed, white with black vinyl top. Gave $2200 for that car.

We have two girls. Both grown and married. Each has a boy and a girl. Life is good.

Welcome aboard. You fit right in with us. There are several of us who do not know much about this car or other cars for that matter. Then there are some of us who think we know it all, there is a few in every crowd!

But in all fairness, this group is very friendly, will assist each other if asked and generally we have a good time sharing our passion for the Solstice/Sky. We have several get togethers, some for fun, some for cruising, some for eating, some for racing (not susposed to say that) and some for what ever?

Get involved in some of the get togethers and you will find other members who may have interests similiar to your's or your wife. Just in case you are unaware, there is a national Solstice Forum on the internet and it may be of some interest and benefit to you. Just go into search engine like Google and type in Solstice Forum. Look around on the forum and if you have an interest, join the forum, it's free.
