Meet at the Outback parking lot near Stone Mountain
East Park Place Blvd at the east end of the Stone Mountain Freeway (US 78) Drivers’ Meeting at 9:00 AM Come visit the shops, restaurants, pubs, and home of the UGA Bulldogs. Visit the many cultural attractions that are available, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. The downtown area will be decorated for the holidays and everyone will be happy to see us. The spirit of our event is to encourage all sports and classic motoring enthusiasts to meet for a scenic drive and share some fun on the last weekend of the year. Everyone is welcome to participate with your most interesting auto – or bring the family in the minivan. The drive is a leisurely tour. All cars will receive a set of detailed directions, so that nobody gets lost or left behind. Stops will be provided along the way. Atlanta area residents will have the opportunity to participate fully and be home before dark. Mark your calendars for December 27 and don’t miss the largest winter driving event in the Southeast. The event takes place rain or shine. The starting point is located east of Atlanta at the end of the Stone Mountain Freeway. From the east Permieter (I-285), take US 78 about 9 miles to the first traffic light. Turn left on East Park Place and into the parking lot on the right, behind Hardee’s, Arby’s, and McDonald’s. Fuel is available nearby, so please top off before the start, as there will be only a limited number of gas stops available along the route. Snacks and drinks are a good idea, too. It's that time again. The annual Wings and Wheels car show will be held October 11th in Warner Robins. There will also be a poker run on Friday, October 10th. If interesed let me know and I'll email you the registration form.

This year we will be teaming up with the Georgia Fiero club and follow a route that they have run in the past. The Fiero club is very excited about joining us and have promised not to get in our way as we fly by them!!! LOL I hope everyone can fit this into thier schedules it should be a great North Georgia Cruise.

When I sent our registration in I ask Bob Dubiel ( show chairman ) about reserving a place for the club. I got a phone call from him today. and he stated he could not save us a place but He did state that we all meet up in one place and all drive in together and that way we could park together. The gates will open at 0800.
This is for the carshow on Saturday so we need to start planning something as soon as possible. |

The Georgia Kappa Club is putting together a night out on the town. We'll meet up and cruise downtown parade style then stop at a pre-arranged place for dinner that is yet to be determined.
Right now we need to settle on a date. So I see a few obvious choices: 1st choice: Saturday, August 25th (Short notice, we may not have enough time to plan properly and my Sol may be in the shop that weekend ) 2nd choice: Saturday, September 1st Keeping in mind that September 1st is the beginning of Labor Day weekend. We may run into family vacation issues. 3rd choice: Saturday, September 8th This date would give me 3 weeks to pick the place, make the reservations and plan parking. And also give everyone else time to mark thier calendars. So if everyone would respond back with thier date choice we can do a majority rules. Thanks, Jr.
